Positive Technologies launches first in series of UK security roundtables

Positive Technologies today announced that it will host the first in a series of roundtables focused on the practical security of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT).

The growing interest in security across critical infrastructure, finance, telecoms, healthcare, retail and other markets sectors has raised questions about how various market participants can effectively manage these security threats. Issues raised include data breaches and regulatory requirements. Recent data breaches have left many organizations dealing with the fallout caused by this type of security failure including: fall in share price; customer defection; and a fall in brand value. Increasing regulatory requirements are adding to the workload of busy security departments.

This roundtable will focus on two key areas: Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA and Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP), SAP.

Castleforce, Positive Technologies UK partner, will co-host this event. Castleforce is an IT consultancy and reseller working with many of the leading security technology vendors.

The roundtable will be held at the University of Reading, December 15 and will be by invitation.
